Last night's traffic was excruciating. Coming from Macapagal, it took me around an hour and a half to arrive at my office in Makati. I also missed Mario Panis' painting exhibit coz of the fact that I have been stranded in Makati for more than 2 hours. Apparently, I realized, that the heavy traffic was due to roads being closed for the Makati anniversary celebration. I received an e-mail regarding this but failed to revive it from my own hard drive until I caught a glimpse of a carless Buendia.
So I just decided to have dinner alone in one of my favorite solitary places in Salcedo. It was there where I felt relaxed and detoxified from stress and annoyance.
At around 8:30, the situation got better. I headed to Tomas Morato for a chitchat with Ikie and a college batchmate. We were all supposedly going to be in the exhibit. But anyway, it was good enough and again, refreshing to have met a new face.
A laughing happy little girl made my night all the best. :)

I've been working triple time for the past couple of weeks because of juggling three projects and some extra office work. I am relieved that the first two have been successfully finalized and presented last Thursday. The third one is yet to come but it looks like it'll be one great activity.
I am also excited for our company's gala night on Tuesday. I am wearing a really nice evening dress by Celine Cruz of Wanderlust Boutique. She was very nice and accommodating. I love her designs. They're all classic and feminine plus the details are very well-made.
Hope to post fab pictures soon :)
